The Fifth Gospel

Israel is approximately 8500 square miles, roughly the size of New Jersey. We toured the coastal area of Caesarea, to the Sea of Galilee, the Valley of Armageddon, Nazareth, Cana, Tiberias, north to the ancient city of Dan on the Lebanon boarder, down the road running the boarder of the Golan Heights and Syria and Jordan, along the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, Jericho, Jerusalem... we experienced such variety of scenic vistas and views. Israel is a remarkable land. The geography is truly the Fifth Gospel that enhances the reading of the four Gospel accounts of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Holy Land Pilgrimage 2009

After an almost 10 hour flight from Newark, NJ to Tel Aviv, Israel, we immediately collected our bags, loaded ourselves onto a very comfortable touring bus and departed the airport for the Mediteranean coastal ancient sea port of Cessera.

The water was so blue.

The ruins revealed a thriving sea port community was a palace, prison and theater.
